CAREER IMPACT AT A GLANCE

Selected business outcomes across 15+ years of product, technology, commerce, operations, AI, data, and enterprise transformation.

My career has not been defined by one company or one technology wave. Across retail, direct sales, media, consulting, eCommerce, customer service, travel, AI, cloud, and SaaS, the pattern has remained consistent: identify friction, modernize the underlying product or platform, and connect technology decisions to measurable business outcomes.

OPERATIONS · EXCELLENCE AWARD

The Problem

Retail locations were required to physically count entire product deliveries before accepting them. For larger shipments, this verification process could take approximately one hour — creating significant receiving friction and operational delay at every store.

The Transformation

Redesigned the delivery-verification process using EDI-generated manifests. Instead of counting every case and bag, the system identified specific quantities for controlled verification. If the targeted sample reconciled with the manifest, the delivery could be accepted without counting the entire shipment.

FINANCIAL DATA PLATFORM & RECONCILIATION

Healthcare Financial Data PlatformTechnical Product / Data Platform Lead — 0→1CASE STUDY

The Challenge

Financial information was distributed across multiple payment processors with inconsistent formats, processor-specific transaction semantics, and no unified reconciliation layer. The product challenge wasn't simply moving data — it was creating the company's first centralized financial-data capability that Finance and Operations could actually trust to make decisions.

Why $0.00 Reconciliation Matters

"Audited $161.2M+ in historical financial activity with a final reconciliation difference of $0.00 — while preserving exact monetary precision, source identity, transaction lineage, and deterministic reconciliation rules."

The reconciliation framework was deliberately designed to preserve original financial source identity, maintain exact monetary precision, identify true source-system gaps, avoid artificially forcing transactions to match, and produce auditable results supporting trustworthy CFO-level reporting.

My Role

Led product strategy, technical direction, requirements, data-model evolution, financial reconciliation framework, processor integrations, validation strategy, executive analytics requirements, and cross-functional delivery. This was the creation of the company's first centralized financial-data capability.

Work Status

  • IMPLEMENTED & VALIDATED: Nexio, Deposyt, Citcon normalization pipelines (RAW → Parquet → S3 curated → readback validation → lineage)
  • IMPLEMENTED & VALIDATED: Deterministic reconciliation and validation framework — 719/719 tests passed, $0.00 difference on $161.2M+ audited
  • DESIGNED & VALIDATED: MongoDB canonical financial model
  • DELIVERED: Designed, validated, and operationalized a deterministic processor-to-analytics reconciliation framework supporting auditable financial reporting

What This Proves

Ability to operate across the full data product lifecycle — from financial workflows, source integrations, data architecture, ETL, normalization, and reconciliation through SQL validation, Metabase dashboard construction, ThoughtSpot Liveboard creation, and CFO-level decision support.

"The product challenge was not moving financial data. It was creating enough trust in the data that Finance and Operations could use it to make decisions."

This work gave me a direct feedback loop from raw financial data to the dashboards and Liveboards stakeholders actually used.

PRODUCT OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Eight principles that shape how I approach product work — from discovery through delivery.

1

START WITH THE PROBLEM, NOT THE FEATURE REQUEST.

Features are hypotheses. Problems are real. I work backward from the problem before committing to a solution.

2

UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT SYSTEM BEFORE DESIGNING THE FUTURE ONE.

You can't improve what you don't understand. I map existing workflows, dependencies, and failure modes first.

3

TRANSLATE STRATEGY INTO CLEAR, TESTABLE OUTCOMES.

Strategy without measurable outcomes is just intent. I define what success looks like before we build.

4

PROTOTYPE WHEN SHOWING IS FASTER THAN EXPLAINING.

A working prototype answers questions that a PRD can't. I build to learn, not just to ship.

5

STAY TECHNICALLY CLOSE ENOUGH TO MAKE CREDIBLE TRADEOFFS.

I don't need to write the code. I need to understand the tradeoffs well enough to make the right call.

6

GIVE ENGINEERING CLARITY ON THE WHY AND ROOM TO SOLVE THE HOW.

The best engineering teams don't need to be told how. They need to understand why — and then be trusted.

7

MEASURE CUSTOMER AND BUSINESS OUTCOMES — NOT OUTPUT.

Velocity, story points, and features shipped are not success. Customer impact and business results are.

8

USE AI AGGRESSIVELY FOR LEVERAGE, BUT KEEP HUMAN ACCOUNTABILITY FOR DECISIONS.

AI accelerates discovery, definition, and prototyping. The decision, the tradeoff, and the quality — those stay with me.

AI IS PART OF MY PRODUCT OPERATING SYSTEM

This isn't about using ChatGPT. AI is embedded in how I discover, define, prototype, build, and validate products — at every stage of the product lifecycle.

DISCOVER

AI accelerates market research, customer-feedback synthesis, problem framing, competitive analysis, pattern recognition, and research summarization.

DEFINE

Use AI for PRD drafting, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, workflow mapping, prioritization scenarios, and architecture exploration.

PROTOTYPE

Tools: Claude · Cursor AI · ChatGPT · Google Colab · Softgen · Voiceflow. Rapid UI and functional prototypes that shorten the gap between assumption and test.

BUILD

Hands-on work with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, context engineering, RAG experimentation, AI agents, conversational AI, and workflow automation.

VALIDATE

AI accelerates QA thinking, scenario testing, customer feedback analysis, prompt refinement, product analytics, and documentation.

"AI should shorten the distance between an assumption and something we can test."

"I use AI for speed and leverage, but I remain accountable for the decision, the technical tradeoff, and the quality of the final product."

I ALSO BUILD PRODUCTS

Enterprise leadership taught me how products operate at scale — the tradeoffs, the dependencies, the organizational complexity, and the distance between a decision and its real-world impact. Building my own products keeps me close to users, technical reality, experimentation, and zero-to-one execution. The two perspectives make each other stronger.

PRODUCTS I'VE BUILT

I build products directly because it makes me a better Product Manager. Building forces clear tradeoffs, exposes technical reality, and shortens the distance between an idea and real user feedback. These are products I have personally conceived, defined, built, tested, launched, or am actively taking toward market.

IN DEVELOPMENT — LAUNCHING SOONMulti-Tenant Vehicle Rental SaaSFounder & Principal Product Manager

The Opportunity

Independent rental businesses operate through a fragmented combination of booking websites, spreadsheets, messaging apps, payment processors, manual agreements, and scheduling tools. The result is operational friction for the operator and unnecessary steps for the customer.

One platform. Two rental engines. Built for independent operators.

What Street Rental Is

Street Rental is a multi-tenant vertical SaaS platform for independent vehicle-rental operators. It combines traditional reservations and self-service Scan & Go rentals within one tenant-aware operating system — with shared fleet, availability, pricing, payments, customer workflows, contracts, and operational controls.

Two Rental Engines

Product Thinking

Every friction point in the customer journey was a product problem. Missed leads, manual confirmations, scheduling confusion, and support burden were all symptoms of disconnected workflows — not just operational issues. I treated them as product requirements.

Status

Live production platform. Available at jeepadventurespr.com.

Distinction from Other Products

JeepAdventuresPR.com is the customer-facing digital commerce and booking experience. JExpress is the self-service Scan & Go rental product. Street Rental is the standalone multi-tenant SaaS platform built for independent operators.

Rental Operations Automation Layer

Beyond the customer-facing platform, I designed and implemented a connected automation layer using n8n that orchestrates customer experience, rental lifecycle events, AI support, and operational systems. Detailed in the next section.

RENTAL OPERATIONS AUTOMATION LAYER

JEEP ADVENTURES PUERTO RICOProduct Owner / Automation Architectn8n · AI · APIs · Rental Lifecycle

I designed and implemented a connected automation layer using n8n that sits between customer-facing channels and operational rental systems. Each workflow was built around a specific customer or operational problem — with clear system-of-record boundaries, idempotency, and safe failure behavior.

Architecture

N8N ORCHESTRATION LAYER

CONNECTED SYSTEMS

HQ Rental · PGVector · Resend · Mailchimp · Smartcar / Location · Website / Customer Portal

Automation 1 — AI Customer Support with Live Rental Data

LIVE

Built a bilingual (English/Spanish) AI customer-support agent that separates static policy questions from live availability and pricing. Static questions use a PGVector knowledge/retrieval layer. Live availability and pricing pull from HQ Rental as the source of truth. The agent collects missing pickup/return details, normalizes dates and times, checks live vehicle availability, and returns only available vehicle classes at current pricing — without inventing data.

Demonstrates: AI agent design · tool orchestration · source-of-truth architecture · RAG · multilingual product design

Automation 2 — Automated Availability Recovery (Waitlist)

VALIDATED

When no vehicle is available, the system captures the customer's search, monitors HQ Rental inventory, and sends exactly one operational email when availability opens — then closes the request. Designed with deterministic deduplication, grouped API calls to avoid unnecessary polling, a limited monitoring window, and automated expiration.

Demonstrates: customer-recovery workflows · idempotency · lifecycle design · event-based communication · API efficiency

Automation 3 — Rental Extension Offer

VALIDATED

Identifies active rentals approaching their scheduled return and sends a single, one-time extension offer approximately 24 hours before return. Idempotency check prevents duplicate sends. HQ Rental remains the source of truth for availability, pricing, and extension completion.

Demonstrates: lifecycle automation · revenue opportunity design · deterministic workflows · system-of-record boundaries

Automation 4 — Self-Service Extension Routing

IN DEVELOPMENT

Routes customers to a self-service HQ Rental flow for reservation identification, new return date/time, availability validation, incremental pricing, and transaction completion. Investigated modification-routing logic to identify where requests were unnecessarily falling into manual review.

Demonstrates: workflow analysis · automation boundaries · exception handling · customer self-service

Automation 5 — Location-Aware Daily Weather

IN DEVELOPMENT

Designed to send active renters one relevant weather update per day based on the Jeep's current or last-known location. Privacy-first design: no route history, no continuous polling, no movement tracking. Reads one location point → local weather via NWS → customer email → stops. Uses minimum vehicle-location data required to deliver the experience.

Demonstrates: privacy-aware product design · location-aware workflows · API integration · customer engagement

Automation 6 — AI-Assisted Email Intake

DEV / EXPERIMENTAL

Inbound email workflow that receives structured or semi-structured customer requests, extracts relevant fields using a lightweight AI model, validates them deterministically, stores workflow state, and sends transactional confirmation via Resend. AI interprets unstructured input; deterministic rules decide whether the workflow can proceed.

Demonstrates: responsible AI workflow design · hybrid AI + deterministic validation · transactional communication

Product Design Principles Behind the Automation Layer

SYSTEM OF RECORD FIRST

HQ Rental remains authoritative for availability, pricing, reservations, and rental state.

NO INVENTED DATA

AI cannot invent current pricing, availability, or vehicle classes.

IDEMPOTENCY

Customer-facing automation must avoid duplicate communications.

SAFE FAILURES

If live data cannot be confirmed, the workflow falls back safely.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

Use only the customer and vehicle data required for the workflow.

DEV BEFORE PRODUCTION

Validate workflows in controlled environments before publishing.

"Jeep Adventures became more than a digital booking experience. I built an automation layer around the rental operation that connected customer intent, live inventory, communications, rental lifecycle events, and operational systems. The goal was never automation for its own sake — each workflow was designed around a specific customer or operational problem, with clear system-of-record boundaries and safe failure behavior."

Product Approach

Every engagement started with the same question: where does the customer experience break down, and what's the smallest change that fixes it? Automation followed product clarity — not the other way around.

What This Proves

  • Customer discovery and problem framing at SMB scale
  • End-to-end product ownership from concept to launch
  • AI and automation applied to real business workflows
  • Measurable business outcomes from product decisions

GENAI PATIENT INTAKE & QUALIFICATION

Healthcare Workflow AutomationProduct LeadCASE STUDY

The Problem

An international healthcare workflow required a better method for multilingual patient communication, repetitive intake, qualification, and structured information capture. Manual processes created delays, inconsistency, and staff burden — particularly across language barriers.

What I Built

  • Conversational AI intake flow for multilingual patient communication
  • Structured data capture and qualification logic
  • Automated triage support and follow-up workflows
  • Backend integration for data handoff
  • Multilingual support across primary patient languages

My Role

Led product requirements, workflow design, AI integration, testing, and deployment. Owned the product definition from problem framing through validation.

Tools & Approach

Voiceflow · ChatGPT API · Multilingual NLP · Workflow automation · Backend API integration

Product Thinking

The key design challenge wasn't the AI — it was the workflow. What questions need to be asked? In what order? What happens when a patient's answer is ambiguous? How does the system hand off to a human when needed? Those decisions shaped the product.

Outcome

Delivered a working multilingual intake workflow that reduced manual intake burden and improved consistency of information capture. Specific time-reduction metrics are client-confidential.

What This Proves

  • AI product design in a regulated, high-stakes context
  • Multilingual conversational product experience
  • Workflow design and edge-case thinking
  • Client product delivery with confidentiality discipline

FASTMIND

AI-Guided Fasting & Habit AppFounder & Product BuilderLIVE · GOOGLE PLAY

The Problem

Most fasting apps focus on timers and subscription upsells. They don't give users enough context about what's happening in their body or mind during a fast. The result: users quit when it gets hard.

What I Built

  • Visual fasting phase tracker with contextual guidance
  • AI-powered support that explains physical and mental phases
  • Discipline and consistency tracking
  • Goal awareness and habit reinforcement
  • Low-pressure UX designed for long-term retention
  • Optional upgrade model (not paywall-first)

My Role

Owned product concept, UX, feature definition, AI integration, testing, and Google Play launch. End-to-end.

Tech Stack

AI integration · Mobile-first UX · Google Play deployment · Cursor AI · ChatGPT API

Product Thinking

The core insight: fasting is as much a mental experience as a physical one. Most apps ignore this. FastMind treats the fasting window as a journey with distinct phases — and gives users the right information at the right moment.

Status

Production app launched on Google Play.

What This Proves

  • Zero-to-one product ownership
  • AI integration in a consumer health context
  • UX design for behavior change
  • Mobile app launch and distribution
AI-Powered Audio SaaSFounder & Product BuilderLIVECreative Product & Content Lab

The Problem

Audio creators — musicians, podcasters, producers — spend significant time on mastering and mixing, a process that traditionally requires expensive studio time or deep technical expertise. The opportunity: make professional-quality audio processing accessible through AI.

Zero-to-One Product Story

MasterSauce.ai is an AI-powered audio SaaS product built from concept to launch. I owned the product idea, customer problem definition, UX design, AI integration, development, and launch — demonstrating that I don't only manage product development, I actively build and ship AI-enabled products.

MasterSauce is also the creative system I use to take raw ideas — across technology, music, writing, and digital media — through research, creation, refinement, branding, launch, distribution, and iteration. It is where I apply the same product-development discipline I use professionally to original creative work.

My Role

  • Product concept and customer problem definition
  • UX design and feature specification
  • AI integration and workflow design
  • Prototype, development, and testing
  • Launch and iteration

Tech Stack

AI audio processing · SaaS architecture · Cursor AI · ChatGPT API · Web deployment

Product Thinking

The key product question wasn't "can AI do this?" — it was "what does the user actually need to feel confident about their audio?" That framing shaped every feature decision.

Status
